The top free blogging platforms to use in 2022

The top free blogging platforms to use in 2022,
1. Wix (www.wix.com)

Wix is a free website building tool that can be fully controlled from the front-end. This platform's primary feature is the drag-and-drop functionality, which frees you from having to manage any back-end operations. Both novices and experts may utilise the design because it is so user-friendly and contemporary.,

Wix's free hosting feature makes it convenient to use; all you need to do is configure the layouts and choose a template to get started. It offers a good selection of paid and free themes and templates for many uses, including blogging.

To start a Wix blog, just sign up and pick one of two options: either let the Wix ADI design a site for you based on a questionnaire, or build your blog yourself, including choosing a template and setting up the layouts using the WYSIWYG editor. If you choose the second option, all you have to do is select a lovely template and begin tweaking everything in live preview mode.

Your pages can contain a variety of features, including as backgrounds, menus, typography, forms, video boxes, multimedia widgets, and more. When you believe the website is prepared, click Publish to begin posting your articles. You may go back at any moment after posting to edit the content blocks.,

2) WordPress (www.wordpress.org)

The leader in no-cost blogging platforms is WordPress.org. Although it is a free platform, the site must still be built mostly by you. The programme must also be hosted by you. While there are some WordPress hosts that are available for free, investing a reasonable sum of money in a reliable WordPress host is a better long-term plan.

This is where Bluehost can help. In addition to being relatively affordable (the Basic plan costs just $2.75 per month when you sign up for three years), it also offers a number of useful features, such as a free domain name, 50GB of disc space, unrestricted bandwidth, free SSL, and 100MB of email storage per account. Right now, Bluehost offers the most affordable, sane WordPress hosting available.

You have complete control over the design and functionality of your website, as well as how you monetize it, because you are hosting the WordPress software yourself. The setup procedure is a little bit more hands-on, on the other hand.

The WordPress interface for making a new post appears like follows:

The platform is primarily used for personal blogs since it is free and simple to start up (assuming you don't mind not having a custom domain name), and it is represented by WordPress.com on the opposing side. However, the amount of customization options available to you are fairly constrained.

The free WordPress.com edition will restrict you from doing that, especially if your goal is to somehow monetize your site.

Given this, we suggest that you begin using Bluehost. If you change your mind about the whole blogging experience, you can simply request a refund inside the first 30 days.

(3) LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com)

Most likely, you weren't expecting this. Most people don't choose LinkedIn as their first preference when deciding which of the free blogging platforms to use. Having said that, it really does merit some consideration!

Tools that are simple to use and an established audience are the two main causes of this.

Regarding the audience, LinkedIn's user base is fantastic because it consists of professionals and business owners who are highly focused. In fact, it's estimated that LinkedIn is used by over 30 million businesses. Additionally, they aren't just there for show. According to additional data, 94% of B2B marketers use the platform as one of their main lead sources.

Simply put, LinkedIn is one of the best free blogging platforms available because it serves as a platform for exposure.

Technically speaking, publishing on LinkedIn is simple. You can simply use the "Start a post" widget at the top of your LinkedIn feed to start a post. The full-screen editing window will open when you click "Write an article on LinkedIn" to turn your status into a complete post.

You can find all the editing tools you're used to using here, including those for adding images and formatting text, among other things.

(4) Weebly (www.weebly.com)

Another website builder you may use to create a blog, sell goods, or display your portfolio is Weebly. In that it offers a drag-and-drop WYSIWYG editor, it is comparable to Wix in certain ways. Simply drag the desired button to the page and edit it there if you wish to add it. Slideshows, photo galleries, and other multimedia components all behave in the same way.

Along with many other features, Weebly offers sidebars, media boxes, forms, ad spots, social media icons, and newsletter subscriptions. Additionally, the platform has built-in statistics and enables you to utilise a domain that you have designed (for which you need to pay).

You receive five personalised pages, a Weebly subdomain, 500MB of storage, and advertising places with the free plan.

5. Moderate (www.medium.com)

Anyone with an account may post on Medium, a versatile platform that addresses a variety of themes. Since Medium receives 60 million monthly visitors (*), it has a significant edge over most other free blogging platforms in that your content will reach a large audience (and the number increases every year).

You basically just join up and start writing; it's quite easy to use. The drawback is that Medium is where all of your material is located. That is, unlike what you would do with WordPress, you are not actually creating your own "place." For more information on how WordPress and Medium vary from one another, read this post,

Colorful Coalition

Colorful Coalition,

The struggle for freedom and equality for African Americans is one that is passed down from generation to generation and from one era of black leadership to the next. Throughout history, the African American leadership has had many outstanding men and women who made their mark and made a difference for black people in America. And that tradition continues to this day with modern black leadership such as Barrack Obama, The Reverend Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson.

Jessie Jackson has organized his efforts to continue the struggle for civil rights in one of the most innovative organizations in history that came to be known as the Rainbow Coalition. This organization represented the dreams and goals of the Reverend Jackson, to be sure. But it also represents the shared efforts of black Americans across the country in modern times to keep the dream of Martin Luther King alive and moving forward.

In fact, the Rainbow Coalition was the outcome of a series of efforts and movements that began with a relationship between Reverend Jackson and Dr. King. It was Martin Luther King that asked Jessie Jackson to head up a movement called Operation Breadbasket, a project to seek the economic improvement of black communities across the country, particularly in the inner city. Operation Breadbasket eventually evolved into a powerful civil rights organization known as the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.

As these movements started to make a real difference in the lives of African Americans in America, another step was the development of Operation PUSH which stood for People United to Save Humanity. This influential organization has become the cornerstone for promoting civil rights and social justice for African Americans in the last twenty years.

It was from these different initiatives and the success they were realizing that the Rainbow Coalition was birthed to seek economic opportunity in the business community and to encourage Fortune 500 companies to hire minorities and to expand their involvement in the nurture and the development of black community for the good of all peoples.

The naming of the movement “The Rainbow Coalition” is pivotal to the vision Reverend Jackson had for the civil rights movement. He did not see it as just black people working for the betterment of the black community. Instead, inspired by Martin Luther King’s dream of equality and brotherhood of all races, the coalition would truly be a partnership of all minorities, the white community and other equal rights movements to seek equal opportunity for all of America’s citizens.

The important stance that The Rainbow Coalition brought to the consciousness of the black community and to America was the concept that civil rights was not just a black issue. It emphasized that all of America cannot move foreword when a part of the population is left behind to flounder in poverty and without the benefits of a good education and job opportunities. The result is that the black pride that was built by key figures of black history such as Mohammed Ali, Spike Lee and even more radical elements such as Malcolm X and the Black Panthers could now be used to promote true equality in the society. In doing so, Jackson and other contemporary black leaders taught that the African American community not only could be but must insist on being fully black and fully American in their status in American culture.

Finally, the Rainbow Coalition emphasized that civil rights is not just a political issue. The emphasis was on all aspects of American life including economic equality, social opportunity and even equal representation in the media and entertainment arts. To be truly represented as an important part of American culture, black Americans must have equal opportunities in all venues.

This is the message for its time that Reverend Jackson and the Rainbow coalition has brought and continues to bring to the national stage. And it’s an important message that takes the good that was done in past civil rights movements in this country and brings up to date with a new century..

Starting Your Manuscript Submission

Starting Your Manuscript Submission,

I am often asked “Do you know of a publisher who would be interested in my book?” There’s no easy way to answer this question. You see, according to the PMA Newsletter, there are over 86,000 publishers in existence (http://parapub.com/statistics). It would be impossible to know what each one is looking for at any given time. However you do know that you’re not going to submit your manuscript or book proposal to 86,000 publishers. It would be a waste of your time and money. To improve your chances in the submission process, you have to do your homework. Here are a few tips so your research will be most effective:

Publishing Houses: Get the Facts

Can you submit your manuscript to more than one place at a time? Depends on where you’re sending it. Unfortunately, each publishing house has its own set of rules for reviewing a manuscript that will have multiple submissions. You have to find out what those rules are. You can check out the 2006 Writer’s Market, published by Writer’s Digest. It’s an excellent source for publisher’s guidelines. So is the website, Literary Marketplace.

While reviewing these resources you should also note what kind of material the company publishes and what kinds of manuscripts and proposals they would like to see. Another way to get more specific information on this topic is to go to your local bookstore and look at books similar to yours. Note the publisher as well as the agent and editor who handled the book (they’re usually mentioned in the acknowledgments). Granted, a publisher might turn your manuscript down if they feel they’ve “been there, done that”, but on the other hand if the company has had success with the subject matter they may be scouring the landscape to find more of the same!

Looking for an Agent

Your research may tell you that the publishers who seem right for you don’t accept unsolicited manuscripts. That means you’ll need an agent so you’ll have to start your submission process with literary agencies. If that’s the case, the 2006 Guide to Literary Agents is a great place to begin your search. Writer’s Digest publishes this hefty tome listing more than 600 non-fee charging agents.

All of the agents listed in the guide adhere to the ethical guides established by the Association of Author’s Representatives (AAR). Members of AAR are forbidden from charging fees. So in one book you get the security of knowing the agent you’re dealing with is on the level, plus you get a full understanding of what material the agent represents. That means you won’t be sending your manuscript out on a fruitless–and costly mission.

Manuscript Mechanics

Don’t get too caught up in the specifics of what your manuscript should look like. Your research will tell you if the agent or publisher wants your manuscript a certain way, but for the most part as long as it’s double-spaced and printed with a clear, easy-to-read 12-point font such as Courier or Arial you should be fine. Put your name, book title and page numbers on each page and–this is key–don’t staple anything. Leaving the pages loose make it easy for the recipient to make copies. This is necessary because usually more than one person will be reading your work.

One note: These days more and more agencies and publishing houses are accepting electronic submissions. Find out if this is the case for your targets. You can save yourself some money and a trip to the post office!

The Entrepreneurial Mindset

Banish all fear. I know that’s easier said than done, but look at it this way. If writing is something you really want to do, then manuscript submissions will become a regular part of your life. You don’t want to go through your days and nights in a constant state of submission angst! It makes me feel tired just to think of what that would be like!

Instead put yourself in the mindset of being a writer and a businessperson. Your writing is your product. You will put out the best product possible. Know that the bulk of your rejections will have nothing to do with the quality of your product so don’t take it personally. You move on to the next prospect with the same positive attitude that the next one may be the right one. Know that writing is part of your work. Being afraid isn’t.

The Plain Advantage Of Navigation Systems,

The Plain Advantage Of Navigation Systems,

If you’ve been in the market for a car, truck, or SUV recently, then I’m sure you’ve seen the vast number of vehicles sporting shiny new auto navigation systems as part of this or that package upgrade. These systems are delightfully handy when you find yourself stuck in traffic that is moving slower than the snail that just passed by or that roads are closing due to nasty weather or traffic pile ups. The truth of the matter is that they can come in equally handy when faced with every day driving if you allow them to be.

Many people unfortunately purchase these systems because they seem like a good idea at the time and then never really get their money’s worth. Very few investments in technology are worthy if you aren’t going to at least get your money’s worth. Auto navigation systems are great when you find yourself lost in the woods so to speak, but they can help you find alternate routes when traffic is busy on your traditional drive to the grocery store. They can help you avoid roads that have been closed for maintenance, or even find a quick way around work that is being performed along your route. These devices can also help you find shorter routes to events and such than you may have been aware existed before and they aren’t commanding nearly the price they brought in a mere two years ago. In other words, this convenience is becoming much more affordable.

One thing you must keep in mind when considering a new car or a new auto navigation system for an existing car is how much you think you will actually use your system. Even if you save it for emergency use alone, it is quite possible that in an emergency this nifty device will be worth ten times what you originally paid for it because it could save jobs, time, or even lives (particularly if you are lost and searching for a hospital). For me, it is hard to put a price tag on the comfort that owning a device such as this would bring but it is definitely worth the $500-$1,000 that is currently being charged. Keep in mind that when these systems first hit the market $1,000 was on the ultra low end.

If you never use this system and only get it because it looks cool, then you definitely are not getting your money’s worth. Technology is only good when it’s useful to someone. Sitting there unused it is assisting no one and is essentially a waste of money. On the other end of the spectrum however, you have people like me. By ‘like me’ I mean those of us who could get helplessly lost and flustered finding our way out of the driveway on dark and moonless nights. I use my auto navigation system like an extra pair of eyes. My system is not the top of the line system that advertises an uncanny ability to help you parallel park your car, but it is nice enough to help me figure out where I am and how to get where I’m going from there. For me, that is exactly enough to be worth every penny.

Beyond that, my navigation system doesn’t require tricky folds or my pulling off onto the shoulder in order to read. It talks to me (without losing it’s temper) and tells me where to go, I love that about my system. I don’t know about the rest of you, but map reading is not something I’ve ever been gifted at. That fact may have a little to do with the fact that it was not something I was ever terribly interested in. Couple that with my poor attention to landmarks and I was a driving disaster. Literally, I got lost at least once, if not twice a week before making the move into the modern world of navigation. I have absolutely no regrets and while I can’t promise that you will love your auto navigation system as much as I love mine (all systems are not created equal), I can pretty much bet that your driving, particularly on long road trips, will go much more smoothly than without one.

5 Ways To Use GPS Technology And Auto Navigation While Traveling

5 Ways To Use GPS Technology And Auto Navigation While Traveling,

5 Ways to Utilize Auto Navigation Systems and GPS Technology While Traveling

If you have managed to do any research on auto navigation systems I’m sure you’ve come across countless nifty features that these devices have in common. While not all devices utilize the very same technology, it is great to know that cell phones today in addition to handheld auto navigation systems are utilizing technology that make travel and locating lost children, pets, and other loved ones a little bit easier to manage in today’s hectic world.

There are many ways that the technology that drives GPS can improve our lives both at home and while we travel. Below you will find some great ways that this technology helps improve your overall travel experience.

1) Trip Planning. Not only are auto navigation systems great to have while on your trip, they are also quite useful when planning your trip. You will not have to listen to endless whining about whether we are there yet or how much fathers. Your children can listen along with you as you plan your trip and find out fascinating places to stop, view scenery, and get some great chow along the way. You should also be able to quite easily find out about neat shopping, shows, and other points of interest en route as well. Finding something for everyone keeps the entire family happy on your trip.

2) Finding restaurants, theatres, and nearby malls. This is very important not only when traveling to your destination but also once you’ve arrived. Many of the nicer auto navigation systems on the market today are able to sort restaurants that are nearby. These systems are much more than simple software that is designed for the sole purpose of giving directions. They are fully functional navigational tools. Some of them even have entertainment features, which will allow them to be used as ebook readers and/or MP3 players.

3) Keeping tabs of family in crowded situations. Even in the mall, you can have family members going off in different locations and keep track of them all. This is also true at graduation ceremonies and other events, which may call for family members spreading out over a large amount of space leaving some out of sight at times.

4) Security when away from home. The idea of being away from home, particularly with teens can be very frightening. We want them to be independent and at the same time we want to never let them out of our sight. Having a cell phone that allows GPS tracking of your teen is a great way to have the best of both worlds. You can keep a watchful eye on where they are without having them in your direct line of sight. This allows them the freedom to pursue their own interests and you the security of watching that happen.

5) Tracking important items while traveling. This may not seem like such a big deal until you’ve dealt with lost luggage a time or two. The truth is that this is a huge load off the minds of many, particularly when it comes to laptops and electronic devices that have important information.

If you haven’t considered these reasons for purchasing an auto navigation system or making use of the many options for safety and security that GPS Technology allows in your life, it is time to give these things some serious thoughts. Our children are the most important thing in the world we can protect and it is well worth the minimal investment in the software required to assist in keeping them safe..

Using Flash Text Animation to Your Advantage

Using Flash Text Animation to Your Advantage,

What is Flash Text Animation?

Flash text animation is exactly what it sounds like. On your web page, you turn plain text into text that is moving, full of colors and life. It looks even better than it sounds, trust me. Flash text animation is growing more and more popular, and graphic designers are finding that flash text animation gives web site a high-tech, glossy, more professional look.

Sure, you can have plain text on your site. But when your competition has flashing, animated, interesting text, viewers may like those sites better – which can be bad for business. In the world of the Internet, having page viewers is the key to success. You want people to come to your site, so you have to keep up with (and even outdo) the competition. Flash text animation is a great way to get your site looking professional, interesting, and lively.

How Flash Text Animation Can Help You

Flash text animation will make your site look more interesting graphically, giving it an overall well-done feel and professionalism. This will bring visitors back time and again, and help to draw in traffic for your site. The average Internet cruiser looks at twenty to forty different sites a day – having flash text animation on your site can help set you apart from the rest. You want visitors not only to come to your site, but also to remember your web site. This will bring in repeat visitors, which means more business for you and your site.

Flash text animation very simply looks good, and people want their web sites to look good. It makes your site a more lively and interesting piece of the Internet to visit, and will make you look like a professional web site designer. No one has to know how easy flash text animation can really be.

Flash Text Animation Programs

To be honest, designing your own flash text animation can be a very long and tedious process. You have to really know what you’re doing and go through a series of careful steps before you get any hint of animation to your text at all. Even very clever web site designers have trouble designing flash text animation.

And because it’s so hard, there are about a thousand programs you can get online to make the whole thing a lot easier. That’s one of the reasons the Internet is so great – it’s great for taking shortcuts. If carefully designing your text and spending hours and hours working with the bones of your web site doesn’t sound appealing, don’t worry – that doesn’t sound appealing to many people.

There are many free flash text animation programs that you can find online, and download for your own personal use. Using flash text animation programs is usually as simple as clicking some buttons and working your way through some pull-down menus. In a matter of minutes, you can add flash text animation to your site without a lot of hassle or even web site design. A simple search on the Internet will yield many different programs that you can try for free to create your own flash text animation.

Flash Text Animation

If it makes your site look better, if it’s easy to do, and if it means more traffic to your site, there’s no reason not to give it a try. Flash text animation will give your site a professional look that you and your visitors will enjoy

Design and creative services from Tungsten

Design and creative services from Tungsten,

Tungsten Design, a sole-proprietorship owned and operated by Thomas Maiaroto Jr. was registered in December of 2005 in the state of Pennsylvania and started business in January 2006.

The company will offer graphic design services to clients from all over, but is based in New Hope, Bucks County, PA. Tungsten Design is able to handle clients from remote location thanks to Thomas Maiaroto’s online project management software. This software, “Galileo,” does more than allow clients to see their project come together. “Galileo” is also responsible for client relationship management, scheduling, prospecting, and more. It runs the business from a management point of view. This saves time and eliminates the need to hire a manager for the business. This is extremely good considering the business is new, of course, and every minute that can be dedicated elsewhere greatly helps the company.

“Galileo” is a fork off various other PHP scripts found on the internet and some of which were abandoned projects. Like all good software, it took little parts from many places and then further unique additions to make it just right. It is completely customized to Tungsten Design’s needs and to the needs of its clients. Clients can login, see what’s going on, communicate, leave messages, share files, see proofs, and more.

Tungsten Design was started by Thomas Maiaroto after his employment as art director for LifeStyle Magazine in 2005. Prior to this, Thomas Maiaroto graduated from the School of Visual Arts in NYC with a BFA in Graphic Design. Studying under world-famous professors, Thomas was able to use his education to greatly benefit LifeStyle Magazine during his last semester at college. Some of the guidelines and practices set forth by Thomas for the magazine continue to remain in use still.

Thomas believes that the importance of the grid, precise, effective, and clean layout in design is paramount. This philosophy has been carried into Tungsten Design. For instance, LifeStyle Magazine was designed based on the “Golden Section” a mathematical ratio that has been used by artists throughout the centuries. This ratio is regarded as very pleasing to the eye. Since his graduation, advanced research and study into grid systems, usability, and human psychology has been part of Thomas’ continued study. His self-education into PHP programming and internet marketing has also helped him further become a valuable provider for his clients and the industry.

While Tungsten Design is a new company, it remains very flexible. Thomas’ time is dedicated to many paid and volunteered projects under the umbrella of Tungsten Design. Burning Calories vs. Burning Fat

Burning Calories vs. Burning Fat,

To lose weight and get in shape you must have a good diet and exercise regularly to burn fat. The first thing you must understand about exercise is that just because you are burning calories does not mean you are burning fat. Your main focus when you exercise should be losing body fat, and you can’t lose body fat just from burning calories. When we exercise, our bodies will start burning calories, but the calories that are burned are the calories from carbohydrates in our system. In order to burn calories from your stored fat, your body requires the presence of oxygen. There is a certain amount of oxygen that your body needs in order to start burning fat and the only way for you to measure the amount needed for your own body is to keep up with your target heart rate during exercise. Please understand that if you continue to only burn calories from carbohydrates, you will lose mostly “water weight” which leads to a decrease in your metabolism. Also, think of the calories that are burned from carbohydrates as your energy calories. If you lose too much energy calories then your muscles will not receive enough energy to increase your metabolism which indirectly burn fat. Therefore you must increase your calorie intake when you are on an exercise program to replace your burned energy calories.

Burning Fat Calories during exercise

During aerobic exercise, your body goes through several stages before it reaches the point where you are burning fat. You will hear people say that you are only burning sugar (carbohydrates) not fat during the first 10 minutes of exercise. This is true to a certain extent. I say this because you will continue to burn sugar past the 10 minute mark if you are not working out hard enough for your body to want more oxygen; or you are working out too hard and you can’t supply your body with enough oxygen for fat burning. When you exercise you must move at a steady pace (not too fast, not too slow) so your body will utilize your stored fat (not carbohydrates or sugar) as its energy source. Also remember that just because you reached the fat burning stage does not mean you will stay there. Staying at the fat burning stage once again depends on if you are moving at a pace that is right for your body. Make sure that you are within your target heart rate range.

Burning Fat Calories at rest

The only way for you to continue to burn fat calories hours after you have finished working out is through the anaerobic exercise of weight training. Weight training is the key to burning fat at rest. Weight training is an anaerobic activity that will cause you to burn more calories than aerobic exercise. The calories that you are burning during weight training exercises are mostly calories from carbohydrates (meaning you must eat even more calories per day for energy); but the calories you burn at rest are mostly calories from fat. The reason you are burning fat at rest is because weight training increases your metabolism which uses your stored fat as energy.

To make your body the ultimate fat burning machine you must do aerobic (cardio) and anaerobic (weight training) exercises.

12 Weight Loss Advice How denying your body food might result in weight gain

12 Weight Loss Advice How denying your body food might result in weight gain,

No, that title is not a typo.

One of the things that makes people not get the weight loss results that they want is that they may occassionally be starving their bodies.

There are two basic ways that this can happen. One is for it to be done inadvertently—like when you just get busy and forget to eat.

Another is when you purpose deprive your body of food to try and “speed up” your results.

Regardless of how it happens, either scenario in this case is equally damaging. Although you will decrease the calories that you take in which may lead to some short-term weight loss, the kicker here is that you will be slowing down your metabolism.

What this means is that after the starving is over, your body will hold onto the next meal you eat for dear life, expecting be be starved again.

If you allow starvation to become a habit, you will actually be contributing to your own weight gain in the future.

Therefore, make sure that you are keeping your meals no more than 4 hours apart. As long as you do this, you will be supporting the healthy metabolism that you’ll need to lose the kind of weight that you’ve committed to.

Weight Loss Through Diet and Exercise

Weight Loss Through Diet and Exercise

Obesity is now being called an epidemic in the health community. In fact, it will soon be the leading cause of preventable death in the United States, even ahead of cigarette smoking. Obesity leads to type two diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease or stroke and even an increased risk of cancer. With all of these health risks, as well as the general improvement in the quality of life that can occur, losing weight is one of the best things that you can do for yourself.

No matter what we would like to believe, there simply isn’t a magic solution to losing weight. The body will shed excess fat when it needs more calories to function through the demands you place on it in a given day than the amount of calories that you feed it. It’s that simple. So, in order to lose weight, you need to decrease the number of calories that you eat as well as increase the amount that you burn.

There is a wide range of options to choose from when looking for a weight loss program. All of them often spend a lot of time explaining what to eat, in what amounts and even at what times or in what combinations. But few of them emphasize the importance of exercise – not just for losing weight, but for your general health and wellbeing. Exercise is vital when trying to lose weight for several reasons:

First, as you start to eat less, your metabolism will slow down somewhat. Exercising helps to elevate your metabolism back to an efficient level.Second, as mentioned, exercise burns more calories so that you can lose weight faster and stay motivated in your efforts.Third, exercise actually releases endorphins, chemicals that keep your mood elevated.

Exercise doesn’t have to mean spending hours at the gym or straining through exhausting workouts. In fact, in order for you to stick with it on the long run, exercising should be something that you enjoy. Start by increasing your activity level in an overall way. Take the stairs when you can. Park further from the mall door when you go shopping. Go for a walk in the park or through a neighborhood you love and bring a dog or a friend along for company. Take dance or martial arts lessons.

Once you become more active in general, you’ll find it easier and more natural to move into regular exercise. Which you’ll need to do eventually in order to get regular, noticeable health benefits. You need to raise your heart rate to a fat burning level and keep it there for at least 20 minutes, 3 times or more a week. However, if you don’t want to go to a gym, there are other options. Videos and DVDs are now available in all kinds of exercise types. That way you can change your routine whenever you want so that you don’t get bored with what you’re doing. Try a range of aerobics, kickboxing, yoga, or pretty much any activity you want right in the comfort of your own home.

If you have physical limitations that would keep you off from exercising, you can still find a way to increase your activity level. Water aerobics is a wonderful option for those who have joint problems or limited mobility because it relieves the pressure on your body that your weight provides. But you still get the resistance to challenge your muscles from the water. There are even classes and videos available that let you exercise in a seated position.

Whatever kind of exercise you choose, it’s important to stay motivated and keep it fun. Try gathering a group together to make it a social event. Or get a pedometer, a device that tracks how far you walk, and see how many miles you can walk a week. Make a competition amongst your friends or family members and treat the winner with something special (not food related!). Make the experience of exercising something that you look forward to, and it will soon become a regular part of your healthier lifestyle.,
